The Government Pre-IAS Training Centre, Amravati, was established by the Government of Maharashtra with the primary aim of providing high-quality coaching and training for candidates aspiring to join the Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Police Services (IPS), Indian Foreign Services (IFS), and other prestigious civil services. Located in the historic Old Biology Department Building of the Government Vidarbha Institute of Science and Humanities Campus, the Centre stands as a testament to the state's commitment to fostering excellence in public service. The Centre offers comprehensive training programs entirely free of charge, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder the preparation of dedicated aspirants.
